I see nothing wrong with complicated, but overly-involved café drinks simply do not seem to have any point to them. Are you not American? I myself am English – technically half Scottish, too – and I have to agree. I have lived here for four years and American dining is not my favourite.
Not that I participate in ‘typical’ dining anyhow, but this is not the point at hand.
I’m not. I was born in France and travelled a bit around Europe. Ended up in Toronto more recently, now I’m here. It’s pathetic what passes as a croissant here.
